Event Overview
Recap of the hands-on UnityMbed workshop held for students at KOSEN-KMITL on August 17, 2026, at the KOSEN Institute, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
This special event gave students the opportunity to gain tangible experience using the UnityMbed IDE paired with the Starter Kit board, accelerating their mastery of embedded systems. It transformed code development and peripheral control into an intuitive, enjoyable adventure—empowering the next generation of engineers and innovators!
Hands-on Experience & Lab Practice
Throughout the session, KOSEN-KMITL students connected their UnityMbed Starter Kit boards to personal laptops and navigated the UnityMbed IDE from zero to running real GPIO control, digital signal outputs, and sensor readings.
Our engineering team provided personal guidance throughout the lab. Every participant quickly got their first firmware running on physical silicon, experimenting with peripheral parameters with tremendous enthusiasm.
- Familiarization with ARM Cortex-M0+ architecture on the Starter Kit development board
- Fast code authoring and instant compilation via the user-friendly UnityMbed IDE
- Hands-on physical hardware interfacing and debugging
- Fostered computational thinking and systematic problem-solving in embedded engineering
Empowering Future Innovators & Key Takeaways
Beyond technical competence, the session ignited student creativity to envision tangible solutions and real-world hardware inventions.
UnityMbed expresses sincere gratitude to KOSEN-KMITL and the faculty for this fruitful collaboration, and looks forward to continuing our journey of nurturing exceptional engineering leaders.
