Event Overview & Special Lecture

UnityMbed had the honor of being invited as guest speakers for the special lecture and hands-on initiative "Embedded System Development with UnityMbed AI" for graduating undergraduate students in Electrical and Power Electronics Engineering at the College of Industrial Technology, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), under the Control Engineering Practice I course taught by Asst. Prof. Dr. Warah Sadara and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thirawat Suebthanawong.

The session aimed to provide students with practical industry insights, bridging classroom theory with hands-on embedded development platforms and preparing future engineers for real-world automation and control challenges.

Hands-on Practice with Starter Kit

During the session, the UnityMbed team conducted an intensive hands-on workshop, guiding students through practical embedded development workflows:

  • Introduction to the UnityMbed IDE platform architecture and hardware Starter Kit interaction
  • Hands-on coding exercises configuring GPIO, peripherals, and control routines
  • Demonstrating seamless compilation and instant firmware flashing on real silicon
  • Utilizing AI-Assisted capabilities to inspect syntax, verify logic, and expedite debugging loops

Collaboration & Acknowledgement

Throughout the lecture and workshop, students demonstrated high engagement and dedication, eagerly experimenting with code and observing real hardware behaviors, deepening their understanding of embedded control engineering principles.

The UnityMbed team expresses sincere gratitude to the Department of Electrical Engineering Technology, College of Industrial Technology, KMUTNB, as well as Asst. Prof. Dr. Warah Sadara and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thirawat Suebthanawong, for the warm invitation and the valuable opportunity to inspire and empower the next generation of Thai engineers.
